It is not just Taiwan and China that celebrate the Lunar New Year in the world!

Korea-Yutnori

When playing Yutnori, people who need more than two people are divided into two teams, usually four to six people.Use sticks, chess boards, chess pieces to play. By throwing sticks, determine the number of squares the chess pieces move on the board

Singapore-The culture of changing oranges

Oranges in Singapore also mean "good luck". They often bring an even number of oranges (usually two) to the host when visiting friends during the Spring Festival, and the host will prepare the same amount when they leave after the party.Sending the oranges back to each other has the meaning of blessing each other. This is what Singaporeans commonly call "changing oranges."

Vietnam-Release carp

In Vietnam’s traditional customs, the Kitchen God Festival is on the eve of the Spring Festival. The kitchen god is the god in charge of the life of a family, and the kitchen god’s mount is a carp. The carp will turn into a dragon and send the kitchen god back to the palace. Therefore, a live carp must be prepared. After the sacrifice is burned, the carp is released and the kitchen god is officially on the road.

China Town in Glodok

China Town in Glodok, North Jakarta, especially Pancoran, this street will sell all kinds of New Year’s goods during the New Year, from lanterns, red cheongsam, red envelopes , candy, melon seeds, bird’s nest to shark fin, etc. Traveling in this region during the Spring Festival, it is 100% similar to Taiwan’s Lunar New Year , except that the language is very different.

Qpapa

Legend has it that the first incense stick in the world reaches the heaven, the Jade Emperor will especially bless him. Therefore, everyone hopes that they can be blessed by the gods. So when every temple's gates opened, hundreds of worshipers rushed to burn the first incense stick. This event has become an undefeated Chinese New Year event in Taiwan today.
